Well, I managed to procure a digital camera today, so I decided to take a few pics of Alexis. I apologize beforehand for my rather poor talents at photography, but hey, when you're the only person at home, you gotta make do.

Looking at these, I just feel more and more confident in myself. All I need now is some {read: a WHOLE helluva lot of} makeup and some normal, everyday outfits......and some shoes....and jewelry.....and work on my voice........and get the happy pills prescribed to me...........I should be a real girl on the outside in no time!

Brief Introducion

Since this will be my first journal post I thought Id introduce myself... I am a 28 yr old transgender girl and I currently live in Orlando, Florida. I have lived here since about 2000 and I have just begun to discover live journal and so far love it. :)

I work non-stop or so it seems for Walt Disney World as a reservations/sales agent and eventhought the position isnt so bad, Id like to use my hard earned Bachelors Degree somewhere/somehow, so im constantly on the hunt for that perfect job. I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors degree in Political Science/prelaw and I will be taking my LSAT (law school admissions test) the first of December. I hope to be accepted and attending law school next fall. My dream is too attend LSU law school, but I have about 10 schools on my list of possible locations for admittance next fall.

Im sure many of you will have questions regarding my transgender status and I will journal about that often, but its not the main focus in my life. While it used to be, I have recently learned to live with being transgendered and not letting that be my main focus in life. Dont get me wrong its very important, but after gaining self-acceptance, I have learned that its only a small part of who I am. :)

Chin and jawline means I look like a man...any suggestions?
