A surprisingly good article by KXLY, one of the local TV stations here in Spokane. It actually features an FTM, and in a positive light, no less. More surprising is that this is from the mainstream media in a very conservative town. Dr. Asbell, quoted at the end, is the therapist I went to to get on hormones.

So I was kind of looking at getting a therapist in the future... according to T-vox these are the two closest ones. They're both in south orange county california area. I was hoping I could get some input on anyone who's gone to either one, or knows someone who has, or knows anything about them at all. As far as whether they're good, whether they'll get me letters in three months, all that stuff. Also the second one is beginning to sound like a mental hospital based on the discription? And just in general, what's the difference between going to a private therapist and going to a center type thing?

t-vox page for second one: http://www.t-vox.org/index.php?title=Therapists_in_the_Pacific_States#San_Juan_Capistrano

And if I were to move while seeing someone, would I be able to just change therapists and have the time count and everything?
