NCTE Conference Call On ENDA

Hey there!

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that I made a post about the conference call the National Center for Transgender Equality just (8pm ET on June 24) had about the re-introduction of ENDA. Want to know that Mara Keisling, Diego Sanchez, Chaz Bono and others said about ENDA? I have quotes and a summary of what was said on this important conference call. You need to call your Senator NOW and ask them to save the hate crimes bill from certain death! If it’s added to the defense authorization bill it will be the death of hate crimes this year.

financial assistance?

 Is anyone aware of any scholarships specifically for Trans people? I know of organizations for the gay community, but haven't heard of any for us.
I am a full time student looking for a part time job, I am SO in debt from student loans that unless I get financial assistance I won't even be able to afford counseling until I have over $50,000 in school debt paid off. I am only a sophomore... 2 years left ={
anything would be helpful!
