I hope it is ok to post this here -- I've been watching the transgender community for awhile but have not posted, mostly because my realization that I'm not quite as cis as I thought I was only came recently.

Anyway, I posted a kind of rambly journal entry about "becoming" (or realizing) genderqueer. I thought I'd share my (mostly intellectual/internal) "transition" here.

Update on the situation of "Lu's A Pharmacy for Women..." unlessthey're transexual or intersexed.

Following up on last Saturday's Rally to protest the exclusion of transesxual women from a Downtown eastside "Women's" Pharmacy.

We got video coverage of our rally at Lu's.

(the correct names are "Beth Marston" "Kim Nixon" not "Marsten" and  "Dixon")



Our goal now is to create a forum of pro-trans feminists both inside the Vancouver Women's Health Collective and in the general community to work towards a non-hostile change in policy.
