I always had a hell of a time trying to find an endocrinologist who knew anything about gender identity and transitioning. So I ended up going to an LGBT health center -- the problem with this is that I don't see my doctor as frequently as I'd like to (lack of appointment availability) and test results take forever to process because they have so many patients and are so busy. I'd really like to find a doctor I could work more closely with. Unfortunately... this is difficult and I have no idea how to go about it.

Does anyone have any suggestions/know any resources that might help?

A quick question about the requirements to be eiigable for GRS.

The website on the GRS Clinic in Montreal claims that the requirements are that hormonal sex reassignment has been recommended by a behavioural scientist, two letters from a psychologist and psychiatrist, and having lived in the role of the desired sex for a 12 month period. Are there any other requirements that you know of? Do you have to have been on hormones for a certain period of time?
