My name is Marley and I've just come out as transgendered.   I'm really new at this and would like to make some friends to help the process to become smoother.  I've tried to talk to my family about it but they don't believe in transgenderism.  When I told them I like girls that didn't go over well either. *sigh*

I'm curious about binders, and I read a few entries about not using ace bandages.  So I've been looking at some binders online.  For those of you who are using binders, which is the best kind?  I am 4'7", 190lbs and have size 42DD breasts, so I have a lot to bind.  I worry I'll end up with one that doesn't work too well.  Also, how harmful are they?  I'm sorry if this question has come up more than once on here.

If anyone is interested, I have 2 photos of my face on my lj (it is an open journal), of a before and after shot.  I was curious if I pass or not.  If not, what can I do to look more masculine?  I've started wearing guy clothes and stopped shaving.  No more makeup or nailpolish or any of those girlie things.  I don't think I pass yet though because an old lady called me "Hon" last week.  I really need some work done and don't know what to do.
