Cross-dressing babies!

I work as a nanny for a 6 month old baby girl. Yesterday morning I came into work and the baby was wearing a boy's outfit (I mean, explicitly a boy's outfit--blue and orange stripes with a truck on it). I totally aww'd in my head and told the baby I liked her outfit, then the mom turned to me and said, "it's supposed to be a boy's outfit, but it's adorable, isn't it? So who cares?"

Thought I'd share a happy little life snippet, especially since some parents I've worked for in the past have been the type to freak out when they realize their son's socks have bows on them. Sometimes I wonder why they hired me.
