Hi,
A friend of mine who works at Kaiser is going to be presenting to doctors about the experiences of trans patients throughout the Kaiser network. They are interested in gathering a few more stories to share about how you were treated as a trans patient at Kaiser.
This info will only be shared within the Kaiser network. No names will be mentioned.
The report will end up being only a "this is what Kaiser has done well. This is what Kaiser has not done well. This is where changes can happen."
It is meant to help trans patients get better care within the network.

Again, I just wanted to stress that this will be anonymous. Any information you provide will not be used to point out specific doctors or patients, but point out positive and negative things done by doctors so changes can hopefully be made.

Have any of you seen Meral Crane in Columbus, OH for counseling? I am going to see her soon with the intent of getting a T letter, but I've heard mixed reviews, so I'd appreciate hearing your experiences, good or bad.

Hey, all! I've never posted here before, but I feel like I've finally got something to say. A quick intro: I'm Tad. I'm 33 years old, assigned female at birth, and I've been repressing my trans issues most of my life. It was only in about March of this year that I realised that my gender dysphoria was worsening rather than getting better and that I was going to have to confront it. A lot of soul-searching and research - and negotions with my straight husband - later, I finally had to admit that I was really male and that I needed to transition. And today, I got my prescription for T. I have an appointment on Thursday to get my first injection and be taught how to do it so that I can do the rest on my own. Three months. It's crazy.

Thanks, everyone. And mods, if there are any issues with the contents (or tags) of my post, let me know and I'll happily make any necessary changes.
