verbal, physical, sexual Harrasment/violence/attacks at college & bathroom legality

I was wondering if anyone had had/knew of/ how to find, information, news, or articles on verbal, physical, and/or sexual harrasment/violence/attacks on trans students on a college campus? In the dorms? Or anywhere else. Also if anyone had an experience they didn't mind sharring of being harrassed in a dorm? Or on campus.

Also I was wondering where I would find online wether it is illegal for someone who still is legally marked as female to use the male bathroom in my state?

~TIPPING MY CAP~  Greetings everyone I am new to this board and to LiveJournal as well.  Ever since I was a wee thing I have known that I was different, but growing up in the bible belt of the grand old south I had no real role models or concept of what being transgendered meant.  For the past 10 years I have been living 24-7 as  a pre-T FTM.  It is realatively easy to pass because I was blessed with an over abundance of T making is easy to naturally grow a goatee and built structurally like the man I was meant to be.  I have been very fortunate to have a very supportive family and close friends but there is no one in my communitee for me to relate to, so I come here seeking fellowship and guidance on this journey.  Thank you for allowing my to become a part of this family.

Looking for common myths

I plan on doing a short 20-30 minute presentation on transgendered people for my Minorities class and I'm looking for common myths to debunk about transgendered people, whether on the whole, or specific to MtF's or FtM's (I do not at all mean to insinuate that I'm not including MtN's and FtN's, but this is a short presentation and I was forced to narrow my focus).

So far, I have already addressed these topics:

Aren't Transpeople just Transvestites?
Are All Transpeople Gay?
Do You Wake Up One Day Knowing You're Trans?
Are All Transmen Butch/ Transwomen Overtly Feminine?

I'd be glad for any other topics. This project isn't due for a month or so, but I'd like to take my time with it.
