Just a question about T

I had started T back in 08 and was on it for a year or so and ended up having to stop taking it due to financials and not being able to afford it. I recently found out the insurance i currently have covers a script for T *HAPPY DANCE* I was wondering if anyone had gone off it after taking it for awhile and gone back on it later on? 

Is there anything i should know besides the normal risks and side effects?
Will it affect me differently this time around?
Should i continue with the dosage i was taking when i stopped or go to a lower dosage for a while until i am used to it again?
