I dress and present as female full time in any particular situation
that involves me leaving the house and mingling with the public.

The only time I seem to get caught unawares with the general
population is if one of them decides to knock on my door to sell me
stuff, panhandle for charity or convert me to their faith!

So yes, well done make-up (i like to think so), nice feminine cut
coat that shows up my fine feminine figure, a girly handbag on my hip,
hair nicely presented so as not be confused with the male rocker
ponytail and all the other paraphernalia of female presentation!!

So why do I still get called Sir by irritating customer service
representatives? It could be my voice I suppose, but a majority of the
time I haven't even opened my mouth!

Maybe I should ask why? Obviously I'm doing something wrong. Obviously something must stick out (no sniggering at the back)!

Would you ask why? I mean I'm already pointing out there blundering
incompetence by correcting their pronouns. Why shouldn't I reach across
the counter, grab them by the collar and slam their head into the till,
whilst asking through gritted teeth "why, why, why?"

Deep Breath!
