1st post, hope I did it right

Hi, this is my first post, I have only made comments and lurked before. I was wondering what people's experiences with their psychologists/psychaitrists were like. I have only seen mine for a couple of sessions so far. She seems nice, but I had hoped to focus on emotional issues but she is more into talking about practical things like transition and what career I'll have as a woman in order to support myself and blah blah blah.
