Jun. 5th, 2004 06:30 pmGood news for anyone in Cumbria.
I am guilty of not reporting crimes myself, I always used to get the feeling that the police wanted to be doing something else. They would maybe have a car visibly driving around the housing estate I live on for the night, then they would disappear. I found it easier just to put up with the constant name calling and i just hoped that they woudn't go a step further. It didn't do any good to my mental health though.
Sadly this news comes a bit late for me, I intend to leave Carlisle at the first opportunity now. at least I have someone to pass on a few names and addresses onto, instead of resorting to my (slightly illegal) revenge plan that I had made. And it is good news for anyone who has to stay here.
