Im a 37 MTF, Post-everything but surgery, and I have been working and saving all year to pay for my appointment in January with Dr. Meltzer.
Im scared to death. Ive never had any major surgery, Ive never even broken a bone. Im positive this is what I want, I hate my penis more than anything, and have dreamed of being female all my life. No, Im freaked out about post-op drugs and pain, etc. If anyone can help me with that experience, Id be grateful.
Also, I guess I need to find an electrologist on the West Coast (WA, OR, CA), to do the pre-op bits. If anyone has a recommendation, Id be eternally grateful.
Finally, if there are any MTFs who are in about the same state as me (very sure about transition path, not really sure about other parts of life) Id love to have someone to chat with. I got lots of sympathetic friends, but some things you just gotta be there to understand I guess, and I dont know anyone like me at all. Im on AIM (zer0bpm) and Efnet (lily).
