Mar. 29th, 2005 11:52 amI just spoke to http://www.decentexposures.com/ . They don't have fancy stuff, but they custom fit, and they have served the trans/bi/intersexed community in the past. I've given the manager a heads up that I've recommended them; she'll pass the word, because sometimes pervy bio-males call because it's a bra shop. So they've been notified they've been reccommended pretty much nationally, and will be quite friendly to any voice on the phone unless a person establishes him/herself as a perv, and that does not men trans/bi/intersexed; it means people calling to get off, not buy bras.
All their bras are custom made, and can handle longer shoulders, bigger rib cages, whatever sizing needs you have. I suggest looking at their website; it talks about the various bras they have; they are functional rather than lacy but have a variety of colors and prints. These are somewhat more supportive than sports bras, depending on the level of support you choose, and have no wires (why I love them). As a bio 44G, I can vouch they can handle just about any size needed. Once you have an idea what you want and what adaptations you need to their regular size, call them on their 800 number and an expert on bra fitting will help you determine what you need.
Buy one bra first, try it on, determine what needs to be changed, and send it back. They'll make the adjustments, keep them on file, and when you're happy with the first bra, then you can order additonal bras and they'll use the changes they kept a file on for further orders.
