Last night, we went to my wife's company Christmas meal, at the house of one of her co-workers (it's a small startup, so all very friendly). Towards the end of the evening, I had to go to the toilet.

Went in, and I saw that the previous user had left the seat up.

At that point, I felt really, really annoyed. The thing is though, I used to leave it up myself, and I know that the amount of work is spread more fairly if the user leaves the seat in the position they used it in afterwards, so I had no right at all to be cross, but I still was.

How weird is that? I wonder if it's because here and now, at the start of my transition, I tend to find any association with the male uncomfortable (I refuse to wear male clothing now, and that's got nothing to do with the Real Life Test, the idea just revolts me).

Anything like this happen to anyone else?
