transHi folks. I'm not transgendered; I consider myself more of an androgyne, but I was hoping you might be able to help me out. I've posted this in other communities asking for advice, with little luck, so anything you have to offer would be greatly appreciated.
I'm an 18 year old girl who frequently gets mistaken for being male. Ideally I'd like my gender to be entirely indistinguishable, but this is a long-term goal and for now I am happy to be able to flip-flop between male and female on a whim.
My problem is this. When I do pass as a male, it tends to be as a 12 year old boy. Not something I'm particularly pleased about. It doesn't really help that I'm small (as in 5'2") and already look young for my age. I get a kick out of genderfucking and being mistaken for a male, but I'd like it to actually BE a *guy*, and not a *boy*. I usually expect my voice to give my gender away, but nope, people just assume I'm a pre-adolescent kid. Quite frustrating. I know this isn't an uncommon issue, so I was wondering, does anyone have any tips on resolving this problem? Suggestions would be most welcome.
