random hormones questions

transis there any benefit to being on progesterone after a certain amount of time? my impression was that it was primarily for initial breast growth, but my doctor never had me go off of it. it's been over two years on hormones so my guess would be it's probably not doing much at this point?
this may seem like a kind of silly thing but it bothers me a bit. have any of you noticed dark circles under your eyes after starting hormones? it drives me crazy that I have them and they're about the only thing I can think of that may be causing them. if you have noticed it, which hormones in particular were causing it for you? I'm on prometrium (micronized progesterone), premarin and spiro.
