Hey all, I’m going to be starting testosterone after my sister’s wedding in October, and I just want all the info I can get you know?

Multiple inquiries below the cut. :]



1. I know that everyone is different, but on average, how long until I can expect some voice changes?

2. Through all of my life, I’ve been in vocal training. Well.. The last 13 years. I happen to have quite a wonderful soprano. I want to continue singing forever because I love it… do you think the T will have much effect on the quality of my voice and tone?

3. Clitoral growth: how much, how fast? I’m looking for average here, because I know people will be “everyone is different”. So just average?
à Say I decided to go off of testosterone… what will happen then?

4. How long, on average, until the reproductive system stops working? And.. After a certain amount of time on T, will my reproductive system be ruined forever?

5. About how long would it take for my natural hormones to take over the T should I decide to stop taking it?

My thing is that I am 100% sure I’m trans… but I’m not 100% sure I want to fully transition. In five years I might decide, “hey, I want a bio-child of my own”.. so the reproductive stuff is mainly what I’m focussed on. And please, if I’m gonna get any “more transgender than thou” attitude from anyone, save it and don’t bother. I’ve seen it with so many people and no one needs to deal with that.
