Since March of this year I've been using Estradiol Valerate IM 40mg/ml injections doing 0.5cc per week. In about the third week of using the Estradiol Valerate I added Progesterone IM 50mg/ml injections doing 0.25cc every 72 hours. Also Spiro 50mg twice daily.
After about the first week of doing the Estradiol I had a lot of nipple sensitivity and the normal increase in size and width (about double). The sensitivity lasted for about a 1.5 months then tapered off until at about 3 months in to the HRT I had no more sensitivity than before I started the HRT regimen. The size of the nipple and the constant protuding nipples stayed however. Over that 8 months I have developed a full A cup on one side and slightly smaller on the other side.
Now the observation and question. As an experiment I stopped using the Progesterone about 2 weeks ago = 6 missed shots. Finally yesterday the sensitivity has returned after a 5 month absence.
1. Could there be a link between the discontinuing of the Progesterone shots and the sensitivity of the nipple?
2. Does the sensitivity indicate a period of active growth? and conversely does the lack of sensitivity indicate a period of no growth?
