So today I got my letter and my prescriptions. I did not tell either the therapist or doctor that I have been self medicating for the past 4 months.

This is what the doc prescribed:

Estradiaol - 1ML IM q 2 wks 20mg/ML 10ML 0 refills
3cl Syringes - Use as directed - quan 6
23 gauge 1.5 inch needles - Use as directed - quan 6

Medroxyprogesterone - 1 po daily x 10 days per month - 5mg - quan 10 - 1 refill
Spironolactone - 1 po BID - 100mg - quan 60 - 1 refill
Finesteride - 3 Tabs po BID - 1mg - quan 180 - 1 refill

So I am not sure if I should drop my current doses and take his prescribed doses or if I should combine some of mine with his...

My current self medicating doses...
Estrofem 8mg/day
Microgest 200mg/day
Spiro 200mg/day
Fincar 5mg/day

Now I am not sure if the medroxyprogesterone is the same as the micronized progesterone I am currently taking. I am currently leeching wireless in the doctor's parking lot on my work laptop so I do not have time to research the differences. But should I call him and tell him I want micronized? Is it not better? Also why did he give me 10mL of estradiol but only 6 needles? It appears he gave me 2 months of pills, 10 weeks of estradiol (so 10 injections) and only 6 needles. He told me not to reuse needles so I am confused. Also is 20mg/ml the normal dose? Is it equivalent to the 8mg/day I am taking of estrofem?

Last question... I have United Health Care... Should I try going through my insurance for this stuff? I am not out at work and am not sure if I want them to know yet. I know I will have to tell them eventually but I do not want them to get a letter or anything from the insurance company outting me. Locally everyone wants to charge $100-120 just for 5ml of 20mg/ml of Estradiol. Is Kronos Pharmacy the online place that is cheap? Anyone have experiences with that place and can give me info such as how fast they ship and if I can add some more needles and such? I thought I was supposed to have a needle to draw the med with then switch to the needle to inject so it was 100% untouched and sharp...? Once the injectables arrive I have to drive back out here to get shown how to inject even though I saw a ton of videos and read about it extensively -sigh-

So yea sorry for the ramble. Any help is greatly appreciated! I am just so excited!
