looking for trans/genderqueer community in austin

i'm trying to find a group/people/sense of community in or near austin tx for my beautiful grrlfriend. she is looking for cool folks who are trans/genderqueer and ideally with a feminist/radical bent. and also down with people born into male bodies. any ideas for groups, places, or events to check out (or people to look up) would be greatly appreciated. you can leave a comment or contact me at the email in my profile.
