post-surgery care

transHey all,
I haven't posted much lately, but it's been good to read all your journals and here what's going on in your life, even when it's stressful.
I'm having top surgery at the end of the month. I'm a big guy, and I'm wondering just how out-of-commission I can expect to be and for how long. I'm guessing 10 - 14 days (at least) of no lifting and 7 days of being really uncomfortable. also, what's good to entertain yourself during this time and how can I calm myself down before surgery.
