Requesting a bit of soul-searching =)

Hi everyone! My name's Andrea, and I'm writing a paper for my college English course on transfolk, transition, and discrimination. (I do have a bit of personal interest here, as my gf has recently decided she'd be happier presenting as female...and I have a lot of trans friends. =) ) I was hoping that some transfolk here (primarily those who are transitioning/have transitioned) would be willing to answer a few questions as an interview so I can get personal perspectives. I originally posed a version of these questions to dietcokeboy (who did an incredible job answering!) and sermoa liked it so much that she answered them too! If you've got a minute, please take a look, and if you've got two, please answer! I'd be happy to use pseudonyms if requested, or not to quote you in the paper if you prefer.
