Can anyone point me to some information on the HBIGDA 19th Biennial Symposium? Or when the new SOC will be available?

What is a relatively inexpensive way to restore my facial skin after having a year of electrolysis? Its not horribly discolored or anything, but *I* notice a little faint discoloration in different places (I've been burned by poor electrology and this isn't the same as that).

Should I consider microdermabrasion? Or laser skin treatment?

I guess I'm worried that any treatment at all will cause my vellus hairs to grow into thick hairs, from being disturbed. I also don't want to zap my vellus hairs via laser treatment, since they are soft and natural looking.

I had my heart set on making my first appointment with an endocrinologist today. Everything was lined up: my therapist is very supportive, I'm spiritually and physically ready, everything. I even got the number to a trans-friendly endocrinologist working out of Boston Medical where I was previously accepted for free care. What more could a girl ask for? Here's the dilema. That doctor is no longer taking new patients. This is a real monkey wrench in the machinery. I don't know where to turn. Is there anybody who knows trans-friendly endo in the Massachusetts or Rhode Island area? I'm located a half an hour east of Providence and an hour south of Boston. Any leads would greatly be appreciated.

thanks,

alyssa

I cross posted so forgive me if you're in the same groups as me and that sort of thing makes you pull your hair out and everything.
