It is time the world sees the beauty within of those who choose to battle with gender difference. This includes the young and the old, Men, Women, Drag Queens, Drag kings, Crossdressers, Transvestites, and MTF & FTM that either have gone through the surgery or about to are welcome. If you bend the norm we want to meet you. Show your beauty and show your pride for who you are and what you stand for. I myself identify and want to open the world up to the difference and diversity.

Ok, I posted a while back about being nervous about my first therapy appointment, and now, four weeks into it, I'm more annoyed than nervous. It started out ok, but a lot of things about my therapist annoy me. She's pretty inconsiderate (hurried us out on our first session because it ran over, somewhat berated me because i didn't call her right away about her wanting to change my appointment time, tends to not start sessions until 15 minutes late, etc), but the most annoying thing now is regarding a hormones referral. We asked at the first session how long it usually takes before she'll write a referral, and she said 4-6 sessions. I ask her this past week (4th session) and she's telling me 6 more weeks. I don't see why it should take so long, other than the possible mistake I made saying I want to be 100% sure I'm doing the right thing (which I even qualified as meaning I just want someone to say that I truely am tg), but this is just pissing me off. $90 a week per session is a bit expensive since my insurance won't cover it until I've had 10 total sessions, then I'll be reimbursed.

She also is unwilling to help regarding my insurance company, I have to do all the contacting and tell her what to do, which seems pretty annoying. Right now I think as soon as I get my letter, I won't be coming back. I'm years off from SRS, so I would have to find a new therapist after graduation anyway. Unfortunately, she's the only game in town where I live, so I can't really just go to someone else.

To simplify, does anyone have any tips as to what I can say/do to get my referral quicker? Thanks everyone!
