Hi,

I am on HRT, specifically estradiol and spironolactone. Last night, I noticed some blood in my urine. Today I went to my doctor, and he said that he found yeasts in the urine, so he put me on
ketzaconazole, an antibiotic.

Has anyone ever heard of this? He said that it was common for people on HRT to develop yeast, but he said that having the yeast was not a bad thing. I wondered then, why do I need to go on an antibiotic?

Thank you,
milla
