So I told my psyh about my plans to start hormones and she is referring me to talk to a woman who works at the university here and has helped other trans people, so my question is it possible for her to recommend me to start hormones or would I just need her to let my psyh know about it and let my psyh write me a letter to get T and also does anyone know how much university counselors usually cost if they do at all??

I had a very odd dream just before waking up this morning, and unfortunately, all I have left are vauge concepts and such, the rest having faded. :(

Basically, I was a teenage boy, who was going to school as a not-quite-teenage girl in a year under her own. I remember being worried about getting caught, but noone even thinking about it really. I remember blue uniforms. I remember having a huge crush on a very innocent best friend, who followed me around much like a puppy dog.

Man, I want to go back and redo school as a young, athletic, pretty girl!

I know this isn't a deep, meaningful entry, but I wanted to share.

Hi!

I'm Alex, an Italian FtM Transgender person, 24 years old. I write you 'cause I jumped into your website and found it very interesting (by the way, sorry for my poor English). I'm currently writing an essay called "Gender Fuck" about the fluidity of gender and all the queer identities out there which don't identify in the binary system of male-female (so ... Transgender people, queers, stone butches, bois and so on). Would you be interested in helping me in this work by telling me your story or by answering an interview so that I can publish it in my book? Let me know ...

It is very important because here in Italy there exist NO bibliographies at all about these themes ... people are ofter extremely ignorant about how many ways there are to be!

Thanks, talk to you soon.

Since I have come out, both to myself and a few others, I notice my conversation patterns have changed.
Become more emotive would be a good way to describe them as well as using less "hostile" phrases. Have others found themselves doing this?

I've been considering coming out to a few selected friends, probably via email and then email or IM if they want to talk about it more. (Staying in my comfort zone: I have an irrational dislike of phones that approaches a phobia, and I'm not the best at spontaneous presentation.) This is my rough draft of a letter summarizing my current discontent and talking about my future options.

Anyway, so Natalie, my RA at school, changed the name on my dorm room door so that it would read "Dustin" (it originally read my female name, but I explained the issue and she offered to change it for me). I think she did this early this morning, but it could've been last night. In all honesty, I don't remember heh but I'm pretty sure it was around 10 or so this morning. So I went to my morning classes and all was well. I went to my afternoon classes, and then came back to the dorm. Upon arriving, I discovered that the name, Dustin, had been removed from my door. I haven't asked anyone about it, but the picture frame that was attached to it was there yet the name was gone and there was no trace of it anywhere. As I said, I haven't asked my RA (Natalie) or my roommate (Erica) if they know anything about it, but maybe I should? I don't know... Words of advice or thoughts?
