Have any of your heard of Norah Vincent and if so, what do you think about her spending 18 months as a man?

I'll have an opportunity to see her speak next month, but I'm unsure how I feel her "adventures" in manhood.

As I may have said before, knowing that the only time I have never thought of transitioning (even before I came out)was when I was fucking or chasing to get laid and knowing that this was only three percent of the time (which leaves 97% to be discontent with myself). And also knowing that between the ten and 20 lovers I have had over many years, I have only REALLY succeeded with five of them. And this post is rambling. But boy, does it make me wonder. I guess I needed to talk about it.

Ok I know I’m only writing to ask advice when I post in this journal/community, and I want to first of all thank every one for their help.

Second I need some advice, (didn’t we all know this was coming).

I’ve finally gotten a boyfriend (go me).

Here’s my problem… He doesn’t know I’m a transguy. He’s like my other half, we think the same, have the same opinions on things… but I know for a fact he isn’t bi, or gay…

So how do I tell him? I don’t want to screw things up between us, but I also don’t want to lie to him.

I’ve tried to tell him, and every time I think about telling him, I choke. I have no idea how to bring it up, and I don’t know what he’d do if I told him.

I really like this guy, and I don’t want to screw up our relationship.

Help please?

I remember flipping through a book not that long ago that had neat cartoon illustrations representing SRS procedures, but I can't for the life of me think of what it was. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
