Hello there folks. This is kind of an odd subject for my first post but I'm looking for music/audio by FTM artists. I'm working on a "gender" mix. I'm using songs by trans artists, music by non-trans artists but about trans themes (examples like "Travelin' Thru" by Dolly), and songs that aren't necessarily about trans issues but could be when seen in the right light ("Testosterone" by Bush, "What a Good Boy" by The Barenaked Ladies, and "Are You a Boy Or Are You a Girl" by The Barbarians). The working title is "Gender 'Effin' in 4/4 Time".

I've managed to find a fair amount of music from those on the MTF spectrum. For example, I have tracks by Georgie Jessup, Lisa Jackson and Girl Friday, and Namoli Brennet. But not very many by the guys. I have _Rhapsody in T_ from Athens Boys Choir. And I want to get some tracks by Billy Tipton. But I can't find anything else. Does anyone here have ideas?

Thanks.

Well I've been hanging out here for a while, and, since I finally have a picture of myself I can tolerate (http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e133/Aenil/Picture005.jpg), I thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Autumn, 19 yrs old living in Santa Clara, CA. I'm pre-everything, but as soon as I can build up enough funds I'm cleared for hormones. Sooooo... Hi everyone!

Tomorrow is the big Saint Patrick's Day parade in Southie. I now realize that there are actually TWO reasons why I wouldn't be welcome there. The fight for a group of Irish gay/lesbians to march is well known. They have been barred on the basis of "well, if you had a civil rights march, would you allow the KKK to join?" I swear, the organizer of the parade actually said this.
And then I read that the organizer's best man at his wedding, his best bud for many years, became a leader of the local Veterans For Peace, a group that I'm also a member of. And he is denying them to march as well! Last year, they were allowed to follow a police escort at the back of the parade. This year; nothing.
I'm a lesbian transwoman and I'm a veteran opposed to the war. I think this is just more of a cue that South Boston isn't really a place I should be hanging out at. At least on St. Patty's Day.
