To paraphrase Firesign theater
You're not alone in the new world because there's a transperson born every minute.
Well maybe not EVERY minute, but you get the point.

It has been estimated conservatively that over 10,000 transsexuals in the United States have completed their sexual transition with genital surgery (sex reassignment surgery, or "SRS"); this number represents only about five percent of the estimated 225,000 diagnosed transsexuals who are cross-living and awaiting SRS.

Well, my second post but I'm almost too excited to type! I got a box of 30 T-patches yesterday! There is one attached right now to my thigh!
The parting words from my counselor: "when you get your patches, DON'T put them ALL on at once!". I admit, I was tempted... a little...

I woke up this morning and still couldn't believe it.
Now of course the reality is setting in because NOTHING ever goes smoothly - the patch is unglueing itself. Good thing I was at the mall when it started to detach, quick trip into the pharmacy and then bathroom - there is now about 20 inches of adhesive tape on my leg (just in case).

I'm concentrating really hard on all the sensations to try and catch any change (stupid, I know, but how can I help it?). Hopefully, I'll be motivated enough to post regular updates.

My partner is looking for information on surgeons who do SRS that will also perform an orchiectomy. She is unable to come up with funding for SRS for quite some time and in the meantime would like to have an orchie. We are in the Seattle area, if you know of any surgeons who do SRS that will do orchiectomy PLEASE comment.

:) Thanks for all your help.
