there is a girl i met at a gay club awhile back who sent me a text message out of nowhere earlier today... she's straight (as far as i know) and has no idea that i am trans... hell, we met in a dark, loud club and she was a little tipsy at the time... she remembers me though and wants to give me a rather sexual birthday gift (if y'all know what i mean)... what should i do?... i'm with someone now so receiving said sexual gift is out of the question, but i would like to hang out with her because she seems pretty cool... should i simply turn down the "gift" and move forward has friends (knowing that she wants something more... physically at least) or should i out myself as trans and then try to move forward as friends (i repeat... the "gift" is out of the question)?... feedback would be much appreciated fellas...

Hey guys, gals, bois, grrls, etc etc

I'm doing a study concerning alternative sex/gender and the law. Just a little background info on me: I'm a transgendered butch lesbian and a criminal justice student hoping to make a difference in the world of law enforcement.
As far as I know, a study such as this has never been done, and I would love your help in answering these questions. If you don't feel comfortable, then don't answer. Your answers will be kept anonymous. You can post your answers here, or e-mail them to me at SoftButchMae@gmail.com. Thanks for your help and, if you are interested, I will post my findings here. Thanks again! - Mae

SURVEY:

1. How do you define yourself in terms of gender, sex, and/or sexuality? (Please, do not feel confined to labels, expand as much as you feel necessary: butch, femme, transgendered, transsexual, genderqueer, etc.)

2. Do you feel your expression of gender and/or sex is protected by law? Is that law enforced?

3. Have you ever been arrested? If so, under what offense were you convicted?

4. If you answered "yes" to the previous question, do you feel you gender/sexual expression was a factor in your arrest?

Thanks again!

I've noticed a bunch of LJ users in this community are into WoW, so I made a new community for WoW lovers who also identify as transgender or genderqueer. [livejournal.com profile] wow_trans
