If any of you have photobucket please save a backup of your files right now. Yesterday photobucket deleted all of my genital pictures
from their server and moved some of my pet pictures. I unfortunately didn't resave them as they were saved there for 5 or more years. If
any of you have these (don't worry I won't freak out...I would actually be grateful right now) please let me know. The website I'm talking about is http://www.msu.edu/user/tunechri/lipincott.html

explaining transition to children... Help

I was recently at my sister’s house for a party she was having, and due to the multitude of changes that have occurred to me, along with her loving, yet prying nature. I’ve finally disclosed to her the fact that I’m dealing with something a little more than plain old depression. She knows that I’m in the process of transitioning and even with her rather devout evangelical Christian beliefs; she seems to be fine with it all.

The problem I/we have is that she has two children, ages 6 and 10, who will eventually need to understand that Uncle “Boy Name” is actually “Aunt Maegan”.

So… Does anyone have any good books, websites, or ideas to suggest in how to explain this all to kids?

I went to a local trans social thursday night... everything went great.... but then after the social, tragedy struck.
i lost my car keys and my friend and i decided to check the restaurant we went to. i went in, nobody seemed to notice me then i went to the checkout lady and asked if they'd found any car keys.. all the sudden, the lady who was standing next to me looked at me, cried "oh dear jesus" and ran away without getting her change. i just about started crying....
