A Logos documentary on the making of the trans version of "The Vagina Monologues".
There were an awful lot of transwoman who came out of deep stealth to participate in it, and many of them had the same thing to say:
Stealth is, at best, a hollow victory.

so a friend and i are putting together this website to promote community wide discussion about some transphobic events that happened in an educational community we are both a part of/connected to.

the community involves a k-12 fancy private school, an art museum, a science museum, a graduate art college and a large campus with extensive gardens.  basically the long and short of it is that there was a lockdown of the school in response to someone seeing a "man in woman's clothing" on campus (there's a link to an article about it here if anyone's interested)

we are putting together a page with links to trans related resources though and i was hoping for suggestions.  in addition to the regional transgender organization and some other local/regional organizations of interest, we'd like to put some basic trans resources like a "trans 101" kind of thing as well as even some more basic resources addressing trans stuff.

as the point of this website is to spark/encourage/direct discussion in a fairly broad community, most of whom have never considered that trans folks are part of their community rather than outsiders i'm trying to choose resources that will be accessable to an audience which knows nothing about trans folks but who we're hoping has a somewhat open mind.  basically, i'm looking for stuff that's going to be accessable to the parents of the kindergarteners as well as the faculty and students as well as alum and even hopefully some of the public saftey officers--but without watering things down or being fucked up and racist and classist and all that (ie probably not looking for a link to the hrc website)--basically i don't want to put resources that are all in your face and overtly political about being radical but would still liketo find resources with the rad ideals at heart

i was thinking sites created by rad parents of trans folks or something might be a good place to look (though did not find anything on the pflag website and wasn't sure where else to look) but would basically be open to any sort of resources to put on the site though

thanks in advance for any suggestions!
