Hi folks.

I haven't posted here for a while - been too busy enjoying transisition and living life - but I find myself returning with a serious subject.

I have a new friends - in the Indianapolis region - who might need assistance and soon. She just came out to a sister and some workfriends (and it went straight to the boss - who is already looking for ways to fire her) and ... well, it's a very small, very religious town.

There's a real chance she could be in danger and, just from the likely family reaction, she may need somewhere/someone to help her exit to a safe place.

I'd do it, just ... I'm in Australia ... so distance is an issue.

I have already sourced local GLBT support (the main one I found is the Uni of Indiana - but if you know of others ... send 'em over) and spoken to other friends, to send the word on and so forth.

Anyways ... if there is anyone near Indianapolis - or if you know anyone who is - AND they/you are willing to help short term (longer if possible) ... please ... let me know.

If you wish to keep details quiet, don't hesitate to shout to my email at evilkate67@gmail.com

TIA ... for listening, if nothing else *hugs to all*

Hi. I recently self-published a new comic called "Just So You Know". While I've drawn and published tons of comics over the years, this is my first foray into autobiography. It chronicles some of the funnier and more entertaining moments over the last couple years of my life as I came out as a MTF transsexual and my subsequent transition. While not making light of the subject (which as we all know has it's difficult and challenging side), I've chosen to focus primarily on the parts of my experience that have been positive and humorous.

There's more information about it and some sample pages HERE.

And behind the cut is a image of the cover.

thanks!

hey, guys. i'm jack, and i'm a seventeen-year-old ftm trans living in a very small town on vancouver island, BC. it's kind of a struggle to reach out to anyone about my issues here, which i suppose is why i joined this community. i don't know if there are many ftm's here, but either way, i'm sure there's a large amount of mutual understanding anyway. i'm hoping to start testosterone therapy when i get back from camp this summer, but my mother is adamantly against it and refuses to drive me to see my counsellor anymore upon hearing this. is this a normal reaction?? read on.. )
