Resources!
Sep. 20th, 2005 01:19 pmHello!
I'm working on a local international film festival and right now I am in the process of creating a "media martketplace" for people to attend after they view the films to further inform themselves on the issues presented in the movie (many of the films fall into the area of human rights/activism). The particular film that brought me to this community is 100% Woman, a Canadian documentary about Michelle Dumaresq, the first openly transgendered woman in the world to be named to a national team in any sport.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here had any good resources (support, educational, etc) to use in the info-fair. It would be really appreciated. The resources can be obtained from anywhere in the world as well because a global perspective is always appreciated. Thank you!
