About a month ago, I went to see my doctor and she gave me a prescription so I could refill my T.  However, I still had another refill left on my old prescription, which I have since gotten filled.  So now I just have this written prescription for T sitting around in my room.  I won't actually need to fill it until May or June, but I probably won't have to see my doctor again until July or August, and I'd rather not have to make an extra/earlier appointment just to replace this prescription if I don't absolutely have to.  There is no expiration date written on it, as far as I can tell, but I'm wondering if the pharmacy will think it is too old to actually fill it for me, as it will be about 4 months old by that point.  What I really don't want to have happen is to run out of T, send the prescription in, have the pharmacy refuse to fill it, and then have to try to make an appointment with my doctor at the last minute.  And I use Stroheckers pharmacy in the US, if that matters.

Thanks!

random question.

for those of you who have knowledge or experience with stroheckers, how long does it usually take for something to come in the mail?

my doctor emailed me 2 weeks ago and said that he put in a prescription to this pharmacy and its already 2 weeks later..... im still empty-handed.

just wondering because i've heard through the grapevine that this pharmacy was pretty quick...... ?

Didn't find anything helpful so I figured I'd ask.

I'll be starting T soon, very soon actually, and my doctor informed me that it costs $118/month for the prescription.

This is a question for my fellow boys who are transitioning or have completed transition:

How long after T did you wait to have top surgery (if you did)?

Is it silly to take out a loan to pay for surgery?

I'm nervous for many reasons.

If I take out a loan, I'll have all these payments to make per month as well as bills (phone bill, car bill, etc).

I'm not hesitant to get started on the T, but I know that if I can't afford to get surgery when I start to look more masculine, I'll feel like I don't "match" and may be all depressed, if that makes sense.

hey guys-
Where are the different places that people get their T prescriptions filled? I know a lot of people go to the online Strock. pharmacy but where else? For some reason, my parents aren't trusting of getting the medicine online. If that is the cheapest place I will just get it there and they will deal with it but just wondering other ideas?
Also, I have United Healthcare insurance, does anybody else have that insurance and get their T covered? If you do, do you pay a co-pay and how much is the co-pay? THANKS
