Maybe this is TMI, but I think I'm getting the hang of this damn medicine spoon thing. I didn't think it would really work, but it does. So far... (here's hoping we don't need it between now and the time we move - then my parents will think we just lost in while we were packing, right?)

BIG question here guys, so pay attention. Is anyone going to be at A-KON 16? It's the anime convention in Dallas, TX June 3, 4, and 5. I'm going down there for all three days with a friend of mine and her parents. We're supposed to get a hotel room, but I haven't heard back on that yet.

If anyone's going to be there, or if anyone's maybe in the Dallas area? It'd be great to meetup, and if we don't get a room is it possible there's anyone in town with a crashpad we could use? (Though I'm pretty sure we'll get the room if we hurry.)

I have a friend who is (?) FTM. I met her as a guy last year but lost touch with her. I recently started talking to her again and found out that she had gone back to living as a girl this past year but told me that she was planning to start transition again -- that was last weekend. This past week she's been a guy to me and then I ended up getting in a fight with her ex over names and pronouns -- we both though each other was being disrespectful (I blamed her for her not transitioning). Well, I guess it turns out that she does want to be called by her given name and gender.

So, do you know anybody who has detransitioned and lived happily? I'd say most of the trans people I know stopped transitioning for a while (I did for three years) before resuming it again because it was just too hard to live without transitioning. But do you know anybody who is not currently in transition because they decided they weren't trans and seems happy and healthy?

I'm trying to respect my friend for whatever identity she chooses but I'm worried she's unhappy. What should I do?

Did anyone pre-op have such high gender dysphoria *my use here is the idea that your body is wrong and disgusting and you dislike it* Such high gender dysphoria that you purpopsely attempted to prevent yourself from arousal because the bodies reation to being aroused distressed you?

My Ex girlfriend is on hormone therapy and pre-op. Her bodie's response to sexual stimuli was low. However when her body did respond, it depressed her afterwards because she is SOOO uncofortable in her body. Other transwomen i've known *surprisling, i know quite a few before i met my ex and got invovled more in trans world* Other women were not so dysphoric. THey didn't want sexual attention to their nether reagions but were comfortable with top play... another woman i know is very comfortable with having heterosexual styled sex, even though she id's as trans woman.

I was just curious if my ex's high level of gender dysphoria is a common thing or if there may be something else underlying it beside GID.

because of the onset of depression after being sexually aroused, we became a celibate couple. HOwever it would seem that she decided to "turn off her horny switch" so that if i ever jumped her in a fit of horny rage, i would not be able to convice her to give in and play. Because of this purposfull denial of sexual interest, she is now not intersted in anyone and it has affecet her emotions toward me *hence the ex* I am just curious if this is also a common thing or if it even happens to others at all? Has anyone turned of the horny switch to not be aroused and it has affected your emotions toward the ones you thought you loved?

Thank you so much for any replays... it has been a few weeks since she and i split. we are still freinds and still care about each other... mostly both of us just want to know what happend and wonder if the bases was transgenderism.

Also i want to know if it is common to not want any sexual play because of depression.
